Am I doing something wrong?
New member, novice watch loverI have a Tudor from the early 1950's with the omega 390 movement. If I leave the watch laying down, it will stay running for 12+ hours. Once I put it on to wear it, I get approximately 2 hours out of it before it stops. Am I doing something wrong? Is this a sign of major issues with the movement? Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!........
Planet Orange or Sub-no date
WOW! i didn't know buying a watch could be so much workI had already decided to go with the omega sub no date over the seamaster 2254.5 and then I get a Planet orange thrown into the mix. Its the one with the orange bezel and orange accents.. ****, that's a nice looking watchits actually a little cheaper than the $2100 of the omega as the owner is looking to sell it for $1900.. choices...choices........
breitling B1 battery change ...
as i don't wear my breitling B1, i hadn't been too keen to change the battery when it ran down. but today i decided to bite the bullet and get it done. now, i've change many an aerospace battery, so the only thing preventing me changing the battery on my B1 was the case back with its anti-tamper feature. so, i entrusted this to my local watch bar, who assured me that they've done this many time........
The one dollar horological machine!
No, it's not a Frog, but I only paid one dollar for it. It keeps great time; it works; and it has a very nice brown croc band I can use with some other watches. I am using it as a work watch. It is very clear to see and keeps the date. What is not to love? Can you think of a better value?????........
